Christmas will soon be here and we want to make this moment really special!
Christmas is a really busy period for us as we search for and produce new proposals to enjoy at the table. However, it is also a time of great satisfaction seeing our specialities becoming a part of your house.  The wait transforms daily life into a careful search for gifts to put under the tree, the decorations and the menu to make a simple gesture as all the family gathering together around the table.

To help you surprise your guests, we have thought up four sweet proposals to decorate the table during the Holidays with a touch of creativity. Here are our suggestions!

It isn’t really Christmas without a centrepiece, and even better if it is full of sweet surprises! You can use a centrepiece that you already have or make a new handmade one.
You need:

  1. A PLACE CARD ALONG WITH… A SWEET SURPRISE

A simple, effective and sweet way to welcome your guests. All you need to get started is:
    • coloured card,
    • a pair of scissors,
    • glue,
    • felt-tip pens or poster paint,
    • Caffarel chocolates.

Cut out the cards and, personalise them with the name of the person, a design or special wishes and apply a pure milk chocolate Caffarel good luck ladybird on the back. If your guests don’t like milk chocolate, you can choose the most suitable chocolate from our proposals!

  2. LITTLE HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS TREES AND GIFT-OFFERING ELVES TO DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TABLE

An original suggestion for those who love to make things by hand and playing around with materials. All you need to create little trees and coloured elves are:
    • pine cones,
    • cork stoppers,
    • coloured card and a pair of scissors,
    • glue,
    • wooden balls,
    • a permanent marker,
    • paper, felt or fabric for your little elves’ clothes,
    • Caffarel Christmas ball with PGI hazelnuts.

Once you have collected some pine cones, select the most suitable ones for the little Christmas trees. With the poster paint, colour the pine cones green or in the colour you prefer. Glue the base of the cone onto the cork stopper. Cut little stars out of the coloured card to top the tree.

Already done? Now it’s time to prepare your gnomes.
Draw eyes and a nice smile on the wooden balls with a permanent marker or poster paint. Attach the wooden ball to a pine cone. Prepare a hat and coloured shoes for your elf with the felt or card and fix with glue.
Your decorations are ready to place on the table next to our Caffarel chocolate ball. Alternatively, you can also place your decorations next to the guests and put Caffarel chocolates into small paper bags near to your elves.

  3. GARLAND CENTREPIECE WITH GLISTENING CHOCOLATES

It isn’t really Christmas without a centrepiece, and even better if it is full of sweet surprises! You can use a centrepiece that you already have or make a new handmade one.
    You need:
    • a piece of wire,
    • string,
    • sprigs of fir and holly,
    • coloured ribbon,
    • Caffarel Piemonte chocolates

Bend the wire into a circular shape, attach the sprigs of fir and holly with the string, then add the chocolates by tying them with the ribbon, decorating the garland as you wish!

  4. NAPKIN HOLDER WITH A LITTLE GIFT
A little accessory to add to your napkin holder that will make your guests feel immediately at home.
    To start you need:
    • a sprig of holly or fir,
    • coloured ribbon,
    • glue,
    • card,
    • and our Gianduiotti.
Fold the napkin so it forms a pocket. Cut a small sprig of holly and fir. Place them in the pocket. Create a Christmas decoration in the shape you wish with the card and attach your Caffarel Gianduiotto onto it. Wrap your composition with the coloured ribbon, make a bow, leaving the decoration and chocolate on the outside of the napkin.

Now we are really curious to see your creations! Once you have finished making your decoration, don’t forget to share it on your social networks with the hashtag #DolceNataleCaffarel!
